Description

This range of bendable metal extractors can be used to remove old packing with minimal effort. With a either a fixed sharp cork-screw tip or replaceable tip, the extractors are available in different sizes dependent on the packing being removed.

Usage

These extractors can be used for removing all types of packing. Care should be taken when performing this task – where old valves are being repaired please remember that many original packing’s prior to 1992 may be ASBESTOS. If you suspect this is the case, please ensure the correct precautionary measures are taken and a certified ASBESTOS removal company is used.

Today in the UK – NO Asbestos is used in any of our products.

Availability

The Extractors are supplied in four sizes:

Size 1 for 1/8” (3.2mm), 3/16” (5mm) and 1/4” (6.5mm) packing
Size 2 for 5/16” (8mm) and 3/8” (9.5mm) packing
Size 3 for 7/16” (11mm) and 1/2” (12.5mm), 9/16” (14.5mm) and 5/8”(16mm) packing
Size 4 for 3/4” (19mm) packing and upward

Available individually or in sets of 4.

Pattern ”C” extractors have a fixed corkscrew tip while pattern “R” extractors have a replaceable tip. The preferred type should be selected when ordering.
